During my UI/UX internship at Reduct Nepal, I designed a comparison page for the Reduct.Video’s AI Transcription Tools Benchmark with my team. It is for simplifying complex data to help users easily evaluate transcription tools. The potential customers of Reduct.Video can compare similar tools for audio files transcription they are most familiar with. The project honed my skills in user-centric design and presenting technical comparisons in an accessible way.
This idea was a branding strategy to brand and market the business positioning of Reduct.Video. Talking about the company, Reduct.Video is a platform that streamlines the process of editing and transcribing video content, helping users efficiently convert spoken words into text.

My supervisors and the entire team of seven, including me, searched the high and low for the best AI Transcription Tools. I used the standard SE, reddit and blogs to choose my top picks. Then, we collaboratively listed out our finds. After consulting the Product Owner, we pin-picked the best tools to experiment with. We then brainstormed the anatomy of this project.

Following the user database, we listed out the major backgrounds of the users. We researched that to decide the type of audio or video files to use in the benchmark tool.
Our selection of the files supports the users feel more confident while using Reduct.Video. Those files sparks more trust in the system. After analysing the data, we made a collection of five audio types with easy, medium to hard difficulty.
